The Flatiron Experience Part II

Today marks the first day of mod 4, boy has it been a journey so far. As mod 1 graduates to mod 2 and my cohort and I graduate to mod 4, I see all of us growing as little tiny developers. To see mod 1 this past friday showing off all their awesome CLI projects brought me back to when I was going through all of it, though it seem like forever ago, it was all but 6 weeks ago. And in this past 6 weeks I’ve basically learned how to make full stack apps, I know, sounds impossible right? Definitely not, it’s actually the farthest thing from impossible. In 6 weeks my cohort and I have been able to build a foundational knowledge of languages like Ruby, HTML, Javascript and CSS. With this foundation it allows us to branch off and start learning more about those languages and even add more languages to our toolbelt of development. This past Friday, along with mod 1, my cohort also showed off their projects and really it’s just unbelievable what we are able to do in just 6 weeks. Can we get a round of applause for all these great people? As we start of mod 4, I just want to thank you guys for the journey so far and I can’t wait to start learning some REACT with you guys!
